I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The building is beautiful. The hosts was extremely helpful. My husband has celiac. They were very careful to ensure his breakfast was gluten free. The sitting area outside was so peaceful and beautiful. They also have to most adorable kitty that makes guest feel very welcome. They are located within walking distance of everything we needed. We will be back

You must stay here! I have been a local and grown up in area. However, this is my first time being able to experience the New Bern area without having to drive back home end of day. The building and rooms are beautiful with a Georgia estate feel. The bed was very comfy, the breakfast was great every day and the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is also perfect to be able to walk to anything you would want to do in New Bern including many great restaurants and the main street shops. I definitely plan on returning and highly recommend a stay.

The decor was beautiful and thoughtfully curated, and the soaking tub was the perfect touch of luxury and relaxation. A wonderful, relaxing experience! We celebrated our anniversary in New Bern and enjoyed our stay at the Aerie very much. The service was perfect, and the building is a great balance of old, period details/fixtures, but with modern amenities. It's a very light and open space as well.
