We stayed for a night and it is a very neat property (featuring a lot of wood and interesting architecture). The caretakers were awesome folks and the breakfast was tasty. Views are amazing as you look west between a parting forest that opens to battlefields and a West Virginia horizon. Super quiet aside from the occasional jet aircraft (is this Air Force travel overhead or Dulles traffic? I dunno)....See More

Also, I don't drink but there was complimentary alcohol, which I would've totally taken advantage of a lifetime ago. Overall well worth the price.

Lovely and very quiet location. Many aspects of this B&B were welcoming and charming. Our room (the wicker room) was spacious and clean but the beds were very high. I recently had a knee replacement so this wasn't great for me. Antique beds are fun to look at but not practical. The whole place is also quite cluttered so if fussy decor isn't your thing, you could feel overwhelmed....See More

The whole place is also quite cluttered so if fussy decor isn't your thing, you could feel overwhelmed. Though not the fault of the Inn, the couple below us was fighting loudly at about 3AM so it's not super soundproof if you have noisy neighbors. The breakfast was nice (offering fruit doesn't really make it two courses) but having to wait until 9AM set the day back a bit. Good birding around the yard (picked up 21 species) and loved the deer, fox, and spectacular view.

First and foremost, the views here are awesome. It was very relaxing and quiet. Mark is the host and was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Tina cooked some interesting choices for breakfast that we are going to incorporate into our meals. She also made sure we had everything we needed for our rooms. Amadeo (the bird) and Truman (the dog) were lots of fun. Loved the area...See More

What a fantastic place! We stayed here in early March and although it was windy and cold, the hosts could not have been warmer! With some fantastic rooms a delicious breakfast and amazing views, I can not recommend this place more! Just fantastic!

Cute and quaint! Hostess was so kind. You can really tell the owner and staff put a lot of heart into the place. A true B&B experience. Breakfast was top notch in the dining room. Our room had plenty of lighting, space, and of course historical books! A laid back atmosphere 20 minutes from Harper's Ferry. Such a delight!
