The Basics

SELECT REGISTRY MEMBER SINCE 2023

Originally constructed in 1790 for the Cuthbert Family, this antebellum-style home served as a residence during the summer social season. While welcoming visits from other prominent families and political figures, their refreshing retreat along the bay was perfectly situated to capture cool, gentle coastal breezes. Over time, the home has been lovingly preserved and meticulously restored into the grand, historic inn it is today.

Equally impressive is the collective personality of the staff. They clearly take pride in delivering impeccable service and attention to detail. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the front porch is one of Beaufort’s best. We loved everything...See More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cuthbert House Inn. Each year, my wife and I celebrate our anniversary by visiting a different bed and breakfast in a new state, and this year’s stay exceeded all of our expectations. If we had to choose a single highlight, it would be the exceptional location. The inn is perfectly situated—close to everything yet just far enough from the busier areas to...See More

This Inn is perfection! Everything about it! From when we came and Karen greeted us with warmth and joy! We had Social Hour with Chris and Suzanne, the owners and our fellow guests each night 5:00-6:00 with wine/beer and delicious appetizers! So fun! We even went to dinner with some couples that were guests and had a blast! Our room was beautiful and perfect! Delicious linens etc. They gave...See More

The Cuthbert House is the best! I have stayed at many B&B's and 5 star hotels and this is without a doubt the loveliest place we have stayed. From the moment you arrive, you are cared for and everything is calming and luxurious. The breakfasts are fantastic, the happy hours are too. Everyone on the Cuthbert House team went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken...See More

Where do I even begin? This b&b is one of the nicest hotel stays we have ever stayed at. The location is an easy 7 minute walk to downtown (bay st). The scenery, especially the view from the front porch is like out of a dream. The beds, furnishings are all very comfortable and beautiful and clean. The hospitality and food has also been one of the highlights. Really...See More
