We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean. The guest rooms are nice and spacious. The service was very good. The tea time was well done. Breakfast was a 5 star experience. If we are back in this area, we would love to stay again.

Very antique and absolutely worth a try. The room was clean while full of history. Don’t forget to check out the books in the living room!
The only issue was that we couldn’t find any staff around in the morning when we were looking for breakfast.

This was our first time staying here, it was a near perfect experience. The rooms are ridiculous in a great way. Very comfortable. We stayed in the Veneto.

Breakfast was truly excellent. Your basic sweet and savory combo (today was a waffle with a side of eggs and a generous helping of fresh fruit) but just very well done. I also appreciated the wine and snacks they put out every day from 4-6, delicious.
The common rooms/parlors are beautifully decorated, and it was such a treat to be able to sit in front of a fire with a glass of wine and a good book. I only wish they hadn't been playing show tunes in the parlors all day and evening. Mary Poppins is not really what one wants in that otherwise cozy atmosphere.
However you may take it as a high recommendation that that was the worst thing I can say about it. If we ever return to the area we will definitely stay again.

We stayed in October 2024. I was making olive oil crostinis today and it reminded me of the unmatched afternoon snacks available here. Mine will never be as good. Breakfasts also amazing.
The house. Amazing. Beautiful. Every detail immaculate. Rooms, beds, bathrooms (luxurious!) white glove clean.
And the staff. How could one describe their effort other than super human. They don't work it like a job. Every interaction (special...See More

This isn't just a place to stay it is an experience. Worth every penny and more. I wish I was nearby with any frequency because I want to go back again and again.

Olivia, the inn keeper, and her staff are absolutely amazing. We stayed this past weekend, leaving 4/12/25, and our stay was delightful. Guests were pleasant and the inn has such a pleasant ambience. The breakfasts and late afternoon wine and cheese were lovely. I definitely will go back!
