Winter is the best time to visit! Lake Huron turns icy and it is the best time to relax in the outdoor hot tub and stargaze.
A trip to Lumberman's Monument is a "must do" when visiting. Tip; this is one of the best places to watch the sunset.
If you are at Huron House on a Wednesday, go to the farmers market! You'll find locally sourced meats, fresh bread & jams.

Wonderful experience. We loved our room, private beach, and the spectacular view. The lake was warm for this time of year and the hot tub was so enjoyable and relaxing. Food was top notch, decadent and delivered timely each morning. Coffee piping hot! Any issues were addressed immediately and I am looking forward to another visit during the off season.

If you're wanting to be on the lake (Huron), this is an upscale inn. Though the highway is noisy, the lake view I think more than makes-up for that. The breakfast choices were tasty and presented as in a 5 star restaurant. The evening dessert was also very nice. And the landscaping on the beach side is simply beautiful.

Everything was perfect. This will be an annual trip. If I had to give a critique, the one & only thing is the curtain over the bathtub didn’t go down all the way & allowed early morning light into the room. Otherwise it was perfect. Definitely will be back

Excellent experience! My husband and I spent a romantic weekend here and loved everything! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The room was spotless and the room was everything we wanted and more. The only drawback was the bugs and the lack of dinner options nearby. Will be back very soon!
