This is an outstanding inn, worthy of recognition for its location, beautiful decor, warm hospitality, and wonderful breakfasts. There are many lovely sitting rooms to relax with a book, have a cocktail from the honor bar or drink fresh coffee. The hot tub and pool are so inviting and relaxing after a day's excursion to Acadia National Park -- a 15 minute drive from the inn and from the...See More

Delightful place. Elegance and comfort all in one. Wonderful staff, kind, helpful, and effective. Great breakfasts served daily. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Had a suite with a gorgeous fireplace. Lovely hot tub and swimming pool. Just a perfect stay! Highly recommend this inn in the charming town of Southwest Harbor with excellent restaurants and a few great shops! I’ll come back!

We loved our stay at the Lindenwood. Manuel was kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything to us. He made great drinks and always provided service with a smile. Beth was a doll; she is warmhearted and just the person you want to greet you when you come down the stairs. The rooms were a little small. Our room in the main building was quite a bit more money than...See More

My parents stayed at the Lindenwood Inn this week and had the most wonderful time. The personalized attention and care of the staff together with the wonderful architecture and decor made for a perfect stay. The pool and hot tub were so appealing that my mom put on a swimsuit for the first time in decades. A true gem on MDI!

Bathroom is tight but shower is generous size and great rainshower head. Staff are friendly, breakfast is very good with options and chefs plate. Lastly, staying away from Bar Harbor was a great decision, most restaurants and such close between 7-9pm so...See More
