Guest Reviews

We discovered The Ashby Inn during a recent road trip. Our stay there was unplanned, but David's warm welcome and impromptu tour convinced us to stop our travels early that day. We are so glad we did! The room was lovely, with a small porch on which to enjoy an evening glass of wine and the beautiful view. Our dinner was amazing, breakfast delicious and all service was top...See More

Imagine being a 70-year-old woman at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday in June and finding that the VRBO you paid $1400 for was a scam. The Ashby Inn was full, but they had an overflow rambler house (probably built in the 50s) nearby with four bedrooms they could offer us. This truly saved our birthday weekend. I have not stayed at the hotel, but have enjoyed the restaurant a few times including very recently. Positive: Perfect setting in Paris, so I only go in nice weather and always sit on the veranda outside. Love it. Service is very good, but not top tier...missing silverware, had to ask for my drink twice...little things but indicative of room for improvement. Food was similarly good, but not excellent....See More

We had a mother day celebration ove at this place. This a nice and quite good choice. They had 3 meal course for mothers day and you had to have an reservation. It was good service and food was delicious. I wish it was more kid friendly. Specially on mothers day when you have no choice dinning out without your kid. Since most of the guest are older people...See More

Previously, we had only eaten at the Ashby Inn and it had been a while. It had been challenging to secure a room reservation over the years. But we lucked out this time, when we called back and found there was a cancellation. Better yet, it was for the fireplace room. It was spacious, private bath, comfortable bed, and... a gas fireplace with two flame settings and a very...See More
