His recommendations as to where to go to experience New Bern and what restaurants to dine at were spot on. And he makes wonderful breakfasts! The Jarvis is the place to stay when in New Bern.

The Jarvis was the most amazing venue for my sister’s wedding weekend! Bret, Brandi, and Ian went above and beyond to make sure the newlyweds had a beautiful wedding and place to stay for the weekend. The cottage as well as all of the guest rooms were beautiful and fully stocked with anything we could’ve needed. There were so many small but noticeable details that makes this bed and breakfast the best place to stay in New Bern. The location was also AMAZING and within walking distance of the waterfront and all food/shopping in the downtown area. My husband and I will 100% be returning to stay and would recommend the Jarvis over and over again to anyone looking to visit New Bern!

We had our wedding at the Jarvis and it was everything we could imagine! Highly recommend staying for a weekend or hosting a special event!
