My partner and I had a lovely stay at the end of June. Our room was lovely, the grounds lush and inviting, and the Innkeepers were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were fancy and delightful! Even the boxed breakfast Dan got before early golf was gourmet. We highly recommend The Oakwood Inn.

Nicest hotel for miles around! We stopped here midway on a cross country road trip. It is a little detour off hwy 90 but so worth it! Beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. I had never been to Iowa before and was blown away by how lovely this area is. Terrific hosts providing personalized service and a delicious breakfast too. And did I mention dog friendly? Highly recommend!

Beautiful rooms and gardens. Linens and towels luxuriously soft. Whole place is meticulously clean and smells so good. Delicious light, fresh breakfasts. Fresh baked cookies a treat. Owners very attentive and helpful. This is our second one week stay. Will stay there every time we are in town.
