The South Mountain Inn is located on historic South Mountain just outside of Reading, PA and has been a place of healing and rejuvenation for more than one hundred years. Our comfortable, spacious rooms offer calming views, cozy beds, private en-suite bathrooms, complimentary, vegan, and cruelty free bath products, plush robes, cable, and WiFi. We offer queen or king rooms and a full fresh breakfast each morning that can be adapted to your dietary needs, including vegan and gluten free options.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Every detail was beautifully thought out—from the stunning room (robes, full-length mirror, cookies!) to the warm service, fresh afternoon coffee, easy-to-use digital guide, and deliciously fresh breakfast. This is a very well thought out family run business. The hosts are wonderful people and very attentive. The rooms are large and well appointed, clean, comfortable, with plenty of extras. First Class ADA accommodations. It is so hard to find a B&B with decent ADA rooms. The South Mountain Inn not only provided a safe and secure room but it was beautiful and private as well (complete with private patio) . The ADA room is located just as come you in. The nicest Inn we've stayed in! The room was spotless and absolutely beautiful with a delicious, home cooked breakfast included and beautiful views from the front windows. Owners have spared no detail, even leaving home baked cookies in the room on arrival. Very peaceful and easy drive to all antique shopping. Will be back for sure!
