The Verandas Bed and Breakfast Inn is an 8,500-square-foot, four-story mansion located in the heart of the historic district of Wilmington. Absolutely fabulous!!! This bed-and-breakfast was so beautiful, so quaint, but luxurious at the same time! I felt like a queen in my room. The veranda‘s were gorgeous, the check-in was easy. Absolutely beautiful traditional bed and breakfast. Beautifully crafted and immaculate taste in decor. Beds were so comfortable I think I went into a coma. Wonderful and kind staff and lovely to talk to some of the other guests at breakfast. Very close to literally everything. Would stay again, would spend entire life here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Large spacious comfortable room. Plenty of comfortable pillows. Very comfortable mattress. We stayed in room 8 which is on the 3rd floor and loved it. The manager was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was so good! Would definitely recommend this B&B.

The Verandas is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast that is located just two blocks from the Cape Fear River. Where do I start? Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water at just the right water pressure. Our hosts were friendly, cheerful and helpful. The location was in the historic district and walking distance to the river walk and cotton exchange. Oh yes. The breakfast was delicious and fresh baked cookies!! I could go on.
